![]() They just haven't made a vehicle yet that doesn't occassionally break. The stars seem closer when sitting around a campfire. It's odd how an IAT effects the tranny but it does. I put it in and no CEL and it is shifting ok. Now I still have a CEL but it is shifting ok. I went back to NAPA and got my old MAF and put it back in. We found that the MAF and the IAT are enclosed in the same part. The shop guy's and myself were puzzled as to why an IAT would effect the shifting. ![]() I went back and had the codes checked again and it was showing that Intake Air Temp #1 (IAT) was bad. I got a new one from NAPA (CEL went out.) After driving for about 5 mins the light came back on and the shift pattern was all screwed up. I had the check engine light (CEL) come on and the problem was the Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF.)
